Though he had a loving family and supportive colleagues, his mercurial mindset—tailored to the particular role that he was playing at the time—made it difficult to connect with them emotionally and physically on any real level.

He lived from role to role, never allowing himself the time to fully blossom in one before moving on to the next—until one day his time on stage was unceremoniously cut short in the prime of life.

He was most famous for playing the rough-and- tumble fighters who headlined the action movies of his day. While willing to work with the stunt doubles of others, he never took one of his own, lending an authentic air to his swordfighting scenes that audiences soon came to relish.

His tendency to forgo words in favor of simply staring his enemies down with a trademark "death glare" kept viewers glued to their seats as the standoff grew tenser and tenser until finally exploding in a cathartic orgy of blood.

In his quest to achieve the most realistic portrayal possible, he began to practice with actual weapons. Soon, the straw training dummies that offered no resistance to his blade began to feel dull, and he hungered for more suitable sparring partners.

In the end, she made up a story about a horrific accident, but it blew over quickly. Whether it was intentional or not, his scars made him even more popular among his fans, and he continued to star in movies for years to come.
